Sample from a bottle. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Some dots of lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Medium body. Lightly dry finish. Bready, lightly spicy flavor. Light hint of lemon. Sweeter taste, light bitter. Solid kolsch.

Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus, light sugars, vague smokey whiff.
Taste comprises pale malts, citrus, light caramel, sugars.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish.
Decent enough kolsch.

0.5L bottle at Home, al right everyone knows what Kölsch looks like, aroma is strong, taste is not as I hoped it would be, there are better kölsch out there

Sünner Kölsch has a medium-to-thick white head, a somewhat hazy, bubbly, golden appearance, with a bit of lacing left behind and little white specs suspended throughout. The aroma is of pungent, sweet, bready, malt, and the flavor is the same, with a light hop bitterness and some biscuit aspects as well. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Sünner Kölsch finishes crisp, clean, refreshing and dry- like a lager. Overall, this is very good and enjoyable. I recommend it! RJT

An alright kolsch. Light yellow and refreshing. Good with brunch, or during summer.

Bottle at home. Pours a crystal clear, pale yellow with effervescent head. Aroma is bananas and spice. Taste is clean, crisp. A good example of the style - great for summertime.

OK, this is the last Koelsch I’ll ever need to try. If this is what is being produced in Koeln, than there’s just no hope.

A finger of head on a clear, golden colored body with lots of bubbles coming up.
The aroma is a strong grain, hay and barnyard with a touch of lemon.
The taste is mild overall with a mild lemon bitterness and grain flavor.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.

Draft at the beer hall in Cologne. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, light malt and bread. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours clear yellow with a vanishing off-white head. Nose slightly floral, some sickly wheat in the background. Sweetish and brackish flavor. Watery. Metallic. Not good.
