2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bright clear gold. Still smells like a lager to me, though not as sharp. Don’t get any ale yeast. Maybe it’s me. Again, it’s like a lager without the crappy sting. It lacks what I usually don’t like in a lager but doesn’t add anything to replace that. Hmm.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour is a bright gold with a average white head. Aroma is mostly dry malts. Flavor is the standout here. Very grassy with a decent amount of hoppyness. Goes down smooth but maybe a bit metalic at the end. Nothing exciting here but one of the better made i have had of this style. Worthy and cheap enough for a try.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 16.9 oz bottle into large dimpled mug:
Aroma - Lemony, grassy.
Appearance - Straw in color with pristine white, 1 finger head. Head dissipates very quickly. Minimal lacing on glass.
Flavor - Nice malty flavor upfront followed by slight lemon flavor. Finishes with a decent crisp hop bite.
Palate - Light and crisp. Finishes very clean
Overall - This has become one of my favorite summer beer styles. It’s a very good example of what Kolsch should taste like. I recommend this highly.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Pale blonde, lively beer. Grassy aroma with just a bit of citrus. Malty for a kölsch, with a soft grassy hopbitterness and a hint of citrus. Well brewed kölsch, one of the better versions of this type of beer.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2010 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small fading white head over a clear golden body. Aroma of grass, corn, hay and cereal. Taste is metallic with soggy malts and corn. Not good. Thin body and medium carbonation.
in further re-rates, there has been an unpleasant sweetness and green apple flavor. It would lower the score further, but I will keep the original score.
