3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on May 7, 2013.
Hazy pale golden color, dense white head. Citrus, hoppy, herbal taste. Herbal aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Citrus, hoppy, herbal, spicy scent, also gauze. When thinking about the scent I couldn’t place reminds me after a while as a mix of dry wall and black currant leaves.
Not bad, especially glad to find a lower ABV beer, but not the beer I wanted for that evening at least. I’d like it with another yeast and likely some other hops, as well as sweeter with a malt residue and perhaps some caramel notes.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle. Clear, pale golden colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing and completely fading, white head. Grainy aroma, cereals, cautious hoppy overtones without specification, a touch of mushed peas. Taste is grainy, hints of ceareals and mushed peas. Light, monotonous and boring - extra score for the mushed peas.

Bottled 330ml 4.4%. Clear golden color, small white head. Not much aroma, just faint grainy-vegetably notes. Light bodied. Very watery palate. Light grainy notes, vegetables. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Dissapointing and probably bad batch.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Tap. A much improved ale on the original brew of some 12 months ago. Now 4.4% and not as grapefruity as before, and now has much more body than the once watery brew it was. Nice skunky fruit taste. Beautiful summer ale when straight from the brewery bar, although now and again it does tend to be a little under par. In all, a very nice brew now.
