COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Citrus dominated IPA with a slight astringency in the first sip that warns you of what’s about to come and an enduring bitter finish (IBUs 65). Back end taste and aromas of tropical fruits from the New Zealand Kohatu hops with Dana hops giving the sensation of being smacked in the mouth with a jar of marmalade…. kinda like Bob Dylan on acid.
Malt: Maris Otter Pale, Crystal Malt & Bamberg Cara Aroma
Hops: Bravo, Cascade, Dana & Kohatu

17.10.2014, Cask 1 pint, Spyglass & Kettle, Bournemouth, England, UK. Bursztynowe piwo o puszystej pianie i słodowym, lekko owocowym aromacie. W smaku początkowo słodowe, lekko owocowe, z wyrazistą chmielową goryczką na finiszu.

v284 c5 Keg at the Alehouse, Reading. Pours a dull light amber with a thin white head. Brown bread and pine up front, with lemon and earthiness following. The hoppiness and bitterness of a modern IPA is there but it’s muted, and it lacks the clean finish. It’s pleasant enough and easy to drink, but it’s rather dull and unmemorable and it’s not really an IPA.

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours hazy gold, creamy white head. Aromas of citrus hops, light tropical fruit. Taste is big bitter, malt sweetness comes up the back though to finally balance things out. Medium body, bitter finish. Good.

At the Main Bar at End of The Road Festival, Friday 29th August 2014 Pours dark gold, lemony with a little pith and some sherbert. Certainly quite hoppy, drinks well for abv, bittersweet. Good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
