Nice citrusy hoppy brew, very drinkable and balanced.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with white head. Initially very flowery and perfumed, but fortunately this calmed down into quite a drinkable, hoppy little number. There was a Kiwi fruit type character along with a bitter orange. The body delivered a pleasant biscuit type malt, reasonably crisp and sharp. Overall decent enough.

Draught (Man in the Moon, Stockholm) - Golden in colour. Hoppy and rather earthy aroma with notes of grapefruit, biscuity malt and lemon. Tea, grapefruit and earthy hops can be detected in the taste.

Draft House, Tower Bridge. Light haze on this amber beer. Good white head. Palate is light and dry. Low carbonation. Light grassy hops with a little marmalade. Trace of citrus. A kind of powdery hop dust is very distracting but overall not a bad beer.

Cask by handpull at The Wellington,Birmingham 17th january.Straw coloured pour with medium white head.Malt aroma with some subtle spiciness and hints of grapefruit too.Sweet caramel and some fruitiness and a nice hop background making for a pleasant easy drinking beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Dorset & Wiltshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/1/2013. Orange with a slight, off-white head. Big, citrus fruit, pine and bready malt aroma. Flavour was sweet, with some caramel, marmalade, strawberries and pine, ending with a lingering, dry finish. Very good.

On tap at Euston Tap. Nice pale body with medium head. Not much in the nose, some hops but lightly. Taste is hoppy with some fruits and ginger tastes in there. Enjoyable.

Keg@ Euston tap. Served very cold had to wait ages to drink it, anyway no complexity just simply dry in a pale ale sense no fruit in the smell or taste low carbonation unappealing brown colour. Tasted like a cask ale coming from a Cold keg. Rather not have bothered. Buy only if it’s cheap ie less than £3 per pint.

Pours a deep straw, with a white head.
Malty, spicy aroma, honey, grapefruit.
Dry, medium bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Malty, grainy taste, hops, caramel, apricot, yeast.

Cask (handpump) @ Charlies Bar, Pilestraede 33, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, malty, light hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120912]
