Citrus dominated IPA with a slight astringency in the first sip that warns you of what’s about to come and an enduring bitter finish (IBUs 65). Back end taste and aromas of tropical fruits from the New Zealand Kohatu hops with Dana hops giving the sensation of being smacked in the mouth with a jar of marmalade…. kinda like Bob Dylan on acid.

Cask. Slightly hazy dark golden with a rough, off-white head. Very discreet nutty aroma. Medium body, lowish carbonation, a dry fruitiness, discreetly nutty with a fairly bitter finish. Their "Beach Blonde" is actually more IPAish than this! 190912

Draft House, Tower Bridge. Light haze on this amber beer. Good white head. Palate is light and dry. Low carbonation. Light grassy hops with a little marmalade. Trace of citrus. A kind of powdery hop dust is very distracting but overall not a bad beer.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clearish gold with a fine, white foam head. Toasty bread nose with some orange notes. Light to medium sweet flavor with more toasty bread, orange, light leaves, mellow grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Mild pine to finish, some further toasty bread character, light orange and other ripe citrus. It’s a low-octane IPA, but’s a very pleasant beer.
