2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Market Porter, London, 20th October 2012 on The Thames Tipple, now well into London and running out of pubs fast also in company of Ang I have to say this was one of the most boring beers of the day, I have no problem with how it was kept, it was just very uninteresting. Pours reddy brown, malty and fruity in mouth, not sure that I could necessarily pick out the Hibiscus flowers, but to be fair I couldnít really pick out much here that was worth trying again. 2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear firm reddened body, whisked white cap of head. Gummy Farty fruit malt nose. Initial taste isnít much different, uncooked sweetcorn thrown in. Cheap sweetcorn at that. Peering floral finish, dry sweet linger. This tastes like itís been on two weeks too long?
