A traditional Irish Red Ale, it pours a rich red mahogany colour and packs a creamy and foamy head. Five different crystal malts build a full bodied ale where the caramel sweetness is balanced by Sunshine’s traditional dry hop finish. The Wakatu and Dr Rudi hops provide the bitterness and are supported by our choice of an aroma driven New Zealand hop to develop its lemony and tropical fruit aroma. Best savoured in a quiet place all to yourself, or share it with your partner if you’re in love.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reddish amber with a dirty white head. Aromas of rustic autumnal NZ hops - orchard fruit, Cox’s apples and ripe citrus. Flavours mild and fruity with a tinge of bittering hops/ Nothing wrong with it, but not utterly memorable.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours ruby red with small off white head. Aromas of salted caramels and apples. Flavor is caramel. But with some bandaid phenols which is unfortunate. Good beer otherwise.
