Very weak dark beer, barely any aroma and not much flavor. With the higher price tag for "premium" best to just avoid this one.

Burnt aroma with wheat. Very dark in color with some lacing. Dark malts, burnt toast, caramel, nuts and chocolate and syrup. Finish is dry but sweet. Very good beer and great in the winter. Beats all other dark beers in the 7-11 and Family mart and leaves you wanting more.

Suntory Premium Maltís Dark, 5.5%, is a schwarzbier that pours a very dark cola brown with a beige hand with lacing that clings to the sides of the glass. The nose is soft chocolate with a mild nutty bite. Fairly thin bodied, the taste is mild chocolate, a bit of nuts plus some roasty notes. Decent.

Milk chocolate, roasted malt. Quite creamy, chocolate candy, mocha, touch of cinnamon, sweet finish. Looks and smells quite attractive but overly sweet for me.

w zapachu słody, karmel i kawa. kolor ciemnobrunatny, ładna średnio trwała brązowawa piana. w smaku dość kwaśny, z dobrą, paloną goryczką, lekko czuć popiołem

Aroma is faint wheat, black malts, and barley. Appears black with a two finger foam head. Taste is crisp black lager malts, rich toffee, pronounced caramel, chocolate, cocoa, roasted sugar syrup. Overall, syrupy and sugary with dark malt roast. Good stuff.

Can from World Liquor Nakai. Overall a nice, roasty black beer that was a welcome departure from the standard Japanese pale layers. Great choice in Japan.

Can@Home. Coffee with sugar aroma. Black, beige head, no lace. Sweet, milk chocolate, hints of cola and coffee, light sugary. Dry-ish. Flavourful, easy, too easy.
