A copper-brown beer, a head is medium, lasting and blond. Aroma is toffeeish and malty, some roastiness and wooden hoppyness. Taste is malty, some roastiness, toffee, dry and wooden aftertaste, nice bitterness. Light+, slightly hard to drink. Quite nice bitter, but nothing more.

Bottle. Amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint fruitiness, light grassy hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, faint caramel and some grassy hoppyness. OK dryish and bit light-bodied bitter - not too much caramel.

Tap. Aroma grass and citrus and earthyness. Taste sweet and grassy. Not Bad.

Light and fresh aroma with some hops and metal. Flavour is light with some harsh hops and grain. Too light and a bit watery.

Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma has notes of fruits and grass. Taste is slightly fruity and malty with notes of hops. Nice, slightly bitter and smooth finish. Okay bitter.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 Tap @ Hostina, Helsinki 21/05/11. Pours a cloudy reddish orange with a large, thick, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is sort of berry-like though also citrusy hops and caramel malts are present. No berry in the flavor though. It is citrusy and caramel malts with some grapefruit in it as well. Aftertaste is more strongly grapefruit. Palate is dry, crisp and light.

On tap in Helsinki. Amber with small head, flavor is fruity and a little bitter. Thin but drinkable.

Draught @Brewpub 24.4.2011. Poured hazy amber color with a creamy white head. Aroma was fruity hops and malt and hint of smoke? Flavor was fruit, hops and sweet malt. Bitter finish. Slight harshness in finish. Decent bitter.

Pours a clear reddish copper colour, small white head. Good retention and very lacy. Aroma of floral hops, grapefruit and sweet malts. Flavour of caramel malts, floral hops and some grass. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel. Pleasant bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2010 (Cask at Gallows Bird Kekri ’10) The beer poured amber and hazy. In my opinion cask ales should be really clear so minus one point. Head was ok. The fruitiness of the aroma was overwhelming and really pleasant. The keg version had more intense hoppiness in the aroma but the hops weren’t missing from here either. Also the taste was very fruity, Other flavours were toffee, hops, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Overall: a good brew, really fresh and fruity but too sweet.
