1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma is sweet wine or juice. Which makes the bready flavor absolutely shocking. At least it doesn’t have the alcohol burn present in most 15% beers. Not horrible, but wouldn’t want to drink an entire bottle again.

Not sure how this qualifies as a barleywine. I’m a lot more inclined to call it a strong malt liquor. Oh well, ,,,Romania!!
And guys, get a marketing copywriter who speaks English.

This had a rich g0lden/br0nze b0dy with a fizzy head that IMMEDIATELY turned int0 a film, then a stray bubble 0r tw0. It smelled 0f sweet caramel, alc0h0l, and a dr0p 0r tw0 0f perfume. The flav0r dr0pped the perfume and was sweet and full 0f alc0h0l. The malt flav0r wasn’t really s0 bad, and if they hadn’t pushed the fermentati0n, this w0uld be a l0t m0re drinkable.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Alcohol is heavy in this, as would be expected by the 15% ABV, but it totally dominates the aroma and taste, sickly sweet malt and paint thinner hide in the background. Nasty

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
bottle. Amber with minimal head. I think you could get a buzz just by sniffing this stuff. I expected the worst from Romania’s finest, and this wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be. Tastes like a bad attempt at a boozy barleywine, but it’s drinkable in small sips. very small sips.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle forced on others by me. Filtered light orange-tan body. No real head..oily residue. Disgusting vinous sweetness. Disturbing, horrendous beer. Putrid horror.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Jesus Christ, the morning of punishment continues. This little devil pours a thick dark gold with no head at all, quite still in appearance. Nose involves (in no particular order) burnt sugar, maple syrup, airplane glue, dark honey, plastic, and toffee. Way sweet flavor with some semblance of bitterness. Very thick bodied, chewy but not in an appealing way, disgusting in the mouth really, fairly actively carbed somehow, with a long vomit-inducing finish. Those partaking in this tasting wondered aloud what horrid slop the other 14 entries in this contest must have been for this to be the winner. An unbelievable beer in so many ways. A surefire road to vagrancy.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Super Brew 15 has a very thin, almost nonexistent white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, amber appearance, with no lacing left behind. The aroma is very strongly of alcohol, cream sherry, caramel, and other pungent things. Taste is of cream sherry, very cloying sweetness, figs, dates, caramel, and almost no bitterness to cut the overriding candy sweet flavor. Mouthfeel is medium, chewy, candy-like, metholated on the inhalations and exhalations, and there is a chalky under taste. Super Brew 15 finishes harsh, overly sweet, alcohilic, and after some ounces are drank, undrinkable. Overall, this is bad and undrinkable. I scored it .5 stars. RJT

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Nice amber/orange color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, molasses, some honey, & fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, molasses/syrup, fruit, caramel/toffee, and spice; Finish is fairly hot; Not that good - but it was interesting.
