Deep golden colour with rich, rocky head. Sweet, malty, almondy, spicy aroma - very fresh pale malty feel to it. There are notable spices in flavour with a malty, fresh backbone, with a bit of almondy glue that I find nice. This is a great beer, very reminiscent of a tripel. bhensonb (2713), Woodland, California, USA May 28, 2008 Bottle at Cambrinus in Brugge. Spicey tripel aroma. Dark gold color with a non-lacing white head. Medium body with very creamy carbonation. Slightly sweet. Slightly bitter. Subtle. Finishes arguably dry, and bitter and mild spice linger on. Try this one on a chardonnay drinker. DruncanVeasey (1533), Burbage, Germany Apr 27, 2008 Sweetish nose of vanilla, honey, freshly polished pine (noble hops), obvious coriander and liquorice now I’ve read the description. Marmaladey citrus and spruce mingled with spice, mellow burn, yeast, metal. Bit too much fizz and alcohol, but
decent. NoiZe (746), Zeist, Netherlands Apr 13, 2008 Golden colored brew. Hoppy aroma. Malty, spicy flavor. Sparkling. Drinkable. yespr (5521), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 11, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a collapsing white head. Solid coriander spiced aroma with a mild mouldy note. Classic blonde flavour of mixed wheaty and spiced notes. Semi-dry. Lingering spice flavours and notes of orange peel.
