Little bit of chill haze in a dark straw/golden colored pour. Huge white head. Plenty of lacing. Hoppy aroma with some malt notes in the back. Sweet banana and malt flavor. A little bitterness in an otherwise malt forward, dry beer. Not bad.

#1246 Leicht hefig-säuerliches Blonde mit kaum herben Noten. Plätschert ganz nett die Kehle runter, ohne irgendwelche Akzente zu setzen. Der große belgische Einheitsbrei, boring beer!

75cl bottle. Pours a clear golden with an aggressive but dissipating quickly, white head. Nose : Fresh fruity : cherry, raspberry and little banana. Little clove. Small notes of alcohol. Caramel malts. Sip : almost mouthful body with good carbonation. Lightly sweet caramel malts change quickly into sour clove dryness. Overall I don’t appreciate champagne bubbles in my beer, unfortunately some of my best beers are like that : ex. Saison Dupont.

Bottle: Golden, mid-sized fluffy off-white head, sweet grainy nose with a tinge of perfume and alcohol; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; bisquity finish with hardly detectable hops in the aftertaste. Quite an uniforme beer......

Countbeer (5983) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2011
Bottle: Medium white head on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Smell fruit, spices, herbs, yeast, light hint of something grainy. Taste light sweet, some honey, malts, yeast, fruit, light caramel, medium bitter. Nice malty light bitter, light fruity herby aftertaste. Medium to fuller carbo, tingly bit sharp mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Decent, but nothing special.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a pale clear golden liquid with a white head. Taste and smell of sweet malts, honey and sugar. Slightly harsh mouthfeel, medium thick body and high amount of carbonation.

Bottle. Blonde beer with a strong head. The aroma is fruity and citrus, and the flavour is warmingly citrus, fruity and mildy spiced / aniseedy. Overall a nice Belgian ale.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of peaches, orange and spicy hints of coriander. Fruity, slightly spicy taste with apricots, citrus and a spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Well balanced and quite tasty.
