Draught @ 9th Belgian Beer Weekend, Brussels. Clear golden color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, toffee, light malty, toasted, medicine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Refreshing. (010907)

An orange unclear beer with a fine head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, and yeasty. The flavor is carbonated prickling the tongue, sweet, slightly bitter and yeasty in the end. It is powerful to start off but a little thin in the middle.

25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a collapsing white head. Solid coriander spiced aroma with a mild mouldy note. Classic blonde flavour of mixed wheaty and spiced notes. Semi-dry. Lingering spice flavours and notes of orange peel.

(Bottle 25 cl) I thought Des Fagnes filtered their beers, but this golden beer is slightly hazy with yeast even on top of the head. Fruity with a pronounced sweetness, almost overly sweet. Go for their Brune instead. 190702

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with mediumsized longlasting white bubbly head. Sweet fruity flavour with weak alcoholic sting. Spices, fruit and wheat in flavour. Not that special. Long acidic sweet aftertaste with alcohol showing a bit.

Bottled. Cloudy pale amber., rich head. Almond aroma. Sweet and grassy with notes of caramel. Clean mouthfeel, perhaps too clean. Bitterish finish with some toffee.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2006 Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a solid white head. Acidic flavour of spices and fruits. Flavour of fruits and spices with notes of hops and metal.

Beautiful golden color; creamy head. The aroma shows signs of age. The body structure is good, the flavor is quite sweet, smooth, with some stale signs of age. It doesn’t feel like 10 years old, but still it’s going downhill.

Gold colour, giant rocky head, a real Belgian lace. Strong hop aroma, old flowers, a little spicy. Good body, elegant waves of sweetness and dryness, malt and hop, coriander. Dry and bitter finish, with good dry hop.

Bottle, 7.5%. Very clovey aroma, nice enough. Clear golden colour, OK white head. Very high carbonation. The flavour is also quite clovey, slightly sweet with an underlying roughness. All in all not bad, though.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is light hazy golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt and has notes of alcohol.
