Mature taste, and a nice appearance. The overall taste is not that great, but it is strong enough to have an enjoyable flavor.

Bottle. A testament to the maturity of this site is the fact that we have a beer named "Fagnes" and no one has made fun of it...jeez, TimE and I were laughing hysterically. Not that there’s anything wrong wit...yeah. The aroma has a nice woody and somewhat Christmas-y offering. The flavor is okay but it doesn’t quite live up to the great aroma, possibly in part because of the too-thin mouthfeel. Some maple notes, chocolate, faint nectarines; very sweet. A decent brew.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2007 Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, near no head. Aroma of mixed fruits and roasty malt. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel and almost full body. Slightly syrupy with notes of nuts, in all a too straightforward ale.
