2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours out brown. Medium sized head, colapse a bit quick, but sticks to the glass. Smell of malt, fruits and some spices. Also a bit earthy and metallic inside. Sweet fruity start, goes to a little sourness, and some earthy dry biterness at the finish. Not to bad, expected worse. But nothing special for sure.

Pours a nice cola colored brown. Aromas of malts, fruit, and a touch of spice. Has flavors of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of wood. Kinda thin in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy brown color with a medium beige head. Interesting aroma of leather, fruits and sweetness. Good flavor of leather, fruits and sweetness. The body is light to medium with a liquorous texture and moderate carbonation. Quite good.

A Mes rate. Tap at Paradise Fest.
Deep dark red brown with a very good light beige head. Good fruity malt aroma with some slight burnt sugar, lots of fruity notes. Not bad. The flavour is similar but the burnt sugar comes to the front. Nice and chewy mouthfeel that manages to remain nice and clean. Too much cardboard in the finish but not bad overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Deep ruby, thin darkish beige head. Some decent jammy darkish fruit on aroma. It’s a fruity dubbel. Some decent fruit, some dryish malt coming in on the end. A little bit of sourness, but mostly a fruity dubbel

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, bought @ BelgianShop.com.
Pours clear redish purple-brown with a medium, off-white creamy head. Aroma has light metal, some coriander, light chocolate, cinnamon and caramel malts. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is generally rather sweet, good toasted chocolate and caramel. Good, elegant spiciness that takes it away from other similar dubbels. Nice enough.

33 cl bottle
pours dark brown, beige head.
aroma and taste, strangely spicy, hints of cinnamon, lots of malts, caramel, bready. The overall mouthfeel kept a nice spicy touch of cinnamon that made this beer simple, yet unique.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, 25 cl. Dark brown to amber colour with a small beige head, not lacing very well and disappearing too fast. A very good smell: fruity, grainy, hoppy, a bit spicy and some notes of barley. Sharp in the nose. Like the head is disappearing too fast the taste is getting boring too fast: a very light - too light in my opinion - taste with a very specific grainy taste in it, but surrounded with a watery aftertaste. Also notes of barley and a light sweet finish. Only the last gulps the taste was getting stronger, but overall this beer is far too weak in comparison with others in this style.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
bottle, dark amber colour and white/beige head. Smell: fruity. But this is more an ’only smell beer’. When you start drinking it you’ll be dissapointed. Taste: mushrooms, a bit bitter, sweet, grainy. Overall a very boring beer with nothing special.
