2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Carrefour. BBF 27/09/2014. Pours a paler ruby amber with a vanishing off-white head. Nose is incredible this basically smells exactly like a bag of cherry – and some other flavours – gelatine candy. That is pretty incredible to be honest my impression fluctuates between that of pure childlike amazement and that of being slightly grossed out. Taste however sadly doesn’t live up to the promise, the gelatine candy is still there but way too weak, lots of sugar water is dissolving the flavour, faint malts and jelly beans, touch iron, hint herbs, watery artificial sweeteners finish. Overall a bit watery. Almost a minor embarrassment by even these sweetened candy beers, to bad that it started out promisingly.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours out of the bottle in a light cloudy dark red colour with airy unsteady head and emdium to thin body. Nose of cherries. Taste of sweet cherries, white sugar, grass and mild beer. Quite high carbonated. The beer is easy to drink but has got some high chemical hints. Okay, but no beer at all.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Selten so was interessantes, gleichzeitig auch chemisches getrunken. Dennoch keine Katastrophe.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Slightly unclear red color, small off-white head. Smells just like an amandel stuffed cookie. Yuk. Taste is sweet with some sweetish fruity influences that appear chemical and artificial. A bit fizzy carbonation, low to medium body.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ benzai. Red colour, chunky off white head. Smells like ’gevulde koek’, almond, somewhat cherry-ish. Tastes cherry, mighty sweet, some iron, a tad watery, syruppy. Thin body, soft carbo.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Ruby colored pour with a small white head. Some lacing, though not much. Big sour cherry and almond aroma - more like a nutty pit aroma. Taste is sweetened sour cherry with a numbing quality. Much like Sucrets. Not bad. A bit dry and sour in the finish. Not the worst fruit beer, that’s for sure.

1.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
From BA in November 2008: Small brown bottle (25cl), glad it wasn’t a bigger one, nearly couldn’t finish this titchy one.
Poured into my La Chouffe tulip glass it looked OK, a reddy brown, clear and bright body with a big, light pink foaming head. The head fell to a wispy covering a bit to quickly for my likeing, but first impressions were fine.
The aroma was of sweet cherries and almonds, in fact a Bakewell Tart sort of smell, interesting if not overaly beery.
Oh dear, it tasted like it smelled, a sweet cherry alco-pop. It was a thin watered down syrup and one for the kids or ladies who like a sicky drink.
The beer got worse as it warmed, I started to look for excuses to lower my original scores. It was almost undrinkable towards the end. It did however look and smell worth the effort, so my scores didn’t alter, many on here wouldn’t be so kind, I feel.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Cherry soda sweet aroma. Amber-gold in color with a thin white head. Intense apple-cherry soda with mint notes; very syrupy. Strange, but not apealing to me.
Note: Called " Lacuvee de brasseur" when we ate at the restaurant.
