Pours a light yellow with honey maple nose. Slight maple flavor with sweetness from the honey. Very tasty mead!

Batch 1 from 2013; mail-order from Superstition Meadery. Maple, maple, and more maple. Gold, ever so slightly murky in color; aroma is maple -- opening the bottle brought my Canadian wife over to find out what smelled like home. Taste is a good balance of maple and honey. A good sweet mead, but the sweetness carries a bit too long on the finish. This is a dessert sipper to pair with the right baked goods.

Pours a nice golden color. Nice sweet nose. Pleasant maple flavor without being over the top.

Bottle share courtesy of Dak, thanks! It pours with a clear watery gold body. The aroma offers up sweet slightly waxy honey goodness backed up by a mild almost brown sugar like sweetness. The taste pulses with rich honey sweetness where there’s a moderate tart note in the background. The honey blends into a modest molasses note and a bit of tartness creating a pleasing balance . Lovely mead that leaves you with a dry finish.

Light gold pour with a nice maple and honey aroma. Taste is honey and solid maple but a little too sweet for my taste

Light honey smell. Mellow, nice honey taste. Maybe VERY light maple taste; was hoping for more, but it was still very good regardless. This one is like the Tahitian Honeymoon, except instead of hoping for more vanilla, I am left hoping for more maple in the next batch. Again, my sentiments were echoed by my peers at the tasting. Tasty stuff though, that’s for sure.

Bottle shared during a mead tasting hosted by daknole. Light honey is the only discernible tone on the nose — no maple at all. Very light yellow in color — like watered-down Chardonnay. Light honey taste with just a hint of maple. A bit of a letdown.

Light gold pour, maple and honey aroma. Taste is honey flavor and solid maple taste. Good stuff!

Slight aroma of maple syrup. Well married flavors of syrup with the honey works and creates a nice flavor. A bit too sweet for my tastes though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy by Me

Pours a nice straw like color. Nice honey base with some maple accents in the flavor profile. This is nice and tasty.
