Pour on tap at the meadery, clear gold pour with no head, still pour, aroma brought notes of booze, nice floral honey into a bit of grain, nice vanilla bean notes with a touch of oaky tones. Taste was a mix of vanilla, honey, slight booze into more vanilla bean, some oak, finishing fairly sweet. Pretty nice, though its a foolproof combination.

Bottle @ home. Thanks, Jake. Clear pale yellow pour with nice legs. Some flowers, vanilla bean, and maybe a touch of wax. Slight cinnamon and alcohol as well. Pretty decent. Flavor is much better. Great vanilla, cinnamon sugar, and caramel. Sweet honey and maybe some graham cracker. Pretty nice.

Bomber into tulip. Pours a bright yellow, almost like white wine. Aroma is sweet, with aromas of honey, vanilla, and a slight aroma of what I can only describe as Play-Doh. Taste is sweet honey with a significant vanilla presence that smooths out the honey sweetness before it becomes cloying. Has an aftertaste of pineapple.

Bottle shared with my wife on our quasi honeymoon. Still pour, Light yellow colour (much like a white wine). Aroma is light vanilla, sweet apples, and honey. Taste is apples, hint of vanilla, honey sweetness, finishes slighty dry with light tartness, medium bodied. Another solid one from SM, very nice.

This is a very hazy burnt orange color. Looks very oily in the glass. Nose is dominated by booze, crisp apple, grape juice and the obvious vanilla notes. A lot of sweet, burnt sugar, boozy as all giddup. Way less vanilla than expected. I get some moldy apples and other fruits. This is very sweet. Not a huge fan

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2015 750 mL swingtop bottle supplied by WillRunForBeer - many thanks! To tumbler, it pours a piss pale yellow. Aromas of vanilla beans, mashed bananas/dried plantains/banana bread, marshmallows, table sugar, green apple, and yams. Tastes the same with the addition of wet cardboard, grilled pears, and minerals. Slushy-like. To what it’s worth, not terrible, but also not my thing. Tasted amazingly similar to a vanilla whey protein drink. I just can’t even... FRIENDS: Gag me with a spoon.
