Bottle shared by argo0 on 6/28/08: Pours a clear pale golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Mild lightly sweet corny nose. Body starts thin and effervescent with some grainy maize sweetness before a slightly drier bland finish. Fairly watery, but smooth.

pours almost as light as regia extra. nose is sweeter than regia but that’s about it. watery on the palate with a sweet malt flavor that is not that desirable.

12 oz. bottle. Traded with daknole for this, just for the chance to change ten pixels on my "Countries" map. Green bottle with no date. Only description on the label is that it’s "Cerveza Premium." Does "Premium" mean something else in Spanish. Pale, barely yellow pour, rocky white head. Smell is mostly corn or some other syrup. Taste is not barley, but barely beer. Fermented corn with a sprig of hops. Flat mouthfeel. If I was taste testing blindfolded, I wouldn’t have even guessed this was beer.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2009 Can from a co-worker. Not much going on here....aroma is mostly corn, maybe a touch of sweetness. The taste is similar, watery and pretty bland. Corn, corn, corn, corn. This beer is probably best suited for derelicts with no taste buds or sense of smell. Don’t attempt to drink this anywhere near room temperature, please. This is quite possibly the worst beer I have ever had.

Goodness what an odd beer. Light yellow. Aroma is sweet, malty, corn and elmers glue!? Flavor is very sweet and grainy. Watery as hell too. Tons of corn. Good for bums without tongues. SudsMcDuff you just made me spit this nasty beer out. Thank you!

Another from the World Beer Traveler Beers of the World. This poured light yellow with a small white head and almost no lacing. Nose of corn. Watery mouthfeel. The flavor is of corn and grassy hops. Bland finish. Nothing going on here. Drink very cold if you want to choke this down.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear yellow pour with a fizzy white head and good carbonation. Aroma is light and sweet with some bitter corn and dry grass notes. Flavor is oddly sweet with some dry grass and malts. Finishes with a metallic corn flavor. Rather watery and bland.

This is basically Arriba’s big brother. Though considering Arriba’s utter lethargy and cheapness, that’s not saying much, understand. This has a decent lager flavor, but that might be due wholly to the fact that it exceeds 5% alcohol. Ultimately, this is a watery lager for the masses, and has no value in terms of beer connoisseurship. Overall, fair minus.
