1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Yellow pour, quick fizzy head. Nose is grains(?). Sweet. Middle is brief tug of war between hops and grain...neither wins. Finish follows suit. Still looking for a new, good summer refresher.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a light straw color with medium carbonation and boozy head. Aromas of hay, slight sour apple/grain, and just a faint hint of toffee. Flavors of light sweet grain, light hay, and almost a hint towards dry hops. Lightly dry, lightly bitter, and leaves just a trace of grain sweetness.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma of stale straw, metal and apple cores. Light yellow lager color. Mildly fruity sweet taste, feels processed. Sourish bitter elements at first, these would likely disappear if the beer warmed up. It suffices to say I bought it from the President’s uncle, who also sold me the Olde English forty.

Hey my 1st El Salvadorian beer! 12oz bottle at Mexican restaurant poured into mug. Typical pale straw color, white head. Aroma of cereal, some light fruity and floral notes. Taste is light, sweet and some grass notes. Light body, fizzy, clean. It was a simple beer to go with my dinner.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Used to be a very good beer back when La Constancia was locally owned. Now it has foaming agents and who knows what else... Still it is the best local beer in El Salvador.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a very pale straw color with a small white head. Strong skunk aroma with just as much sulfur. Lots of corn and cereal sweetness with a touch of yeast and apple juice. Corn, table sugar, and grain sweetness on the palate with a healthy helping of skunk and sulfur. A bit of cracker, straw, and grass, but very little bitterness. Light apple juice sweetness provides what little depth there is.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Suprema has a thin-to-medium, white head and a clear, bubbly, yellow-golden appearance, with considerable, stratified lacing left down the glass. The aroma is sweet, lemony, and one gets a bit of malt and stinging hops as well. The flavor is rich, lemony, malty, slightly hoppy, and it even has an odd, cream ale olive oil aspect to it. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Suprema finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and supremely drinkable. This made for a very nice 6 am breakfast beer. Overall, I loved it! RJT
