3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Among Salvadoran beers this one has better quality. It is exported to several countries. It has less alcoholic aroma than the others, it makes it look more inviting. Its color is a bit deeper but its body is kind of light with medium carbonatation. It tastes good, with an intense bread taste at the end. In El Salvador, this beer is the chosen one for special celebrations.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle at a whole in the wall Salvadorian pupuseria. Poured a totally clear yellow color with a thick white head. Aroma is corn adjuncts, pale malts. Grassy with bready notes. Clean and more refreshing than I expected it to be. Went well with dinner.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours a light straw color with medium carbonation and boozy head. Aromas of hay, slight sour apple/grain, and just a faint hint of toffee. Flavors of light sweet grain, light hay, and almost a hint towards dry hops. Lightly dry, lightly bitter, and leaves just a trace of grain sweetness.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Yellow pour, quick fizzy head. Nose is grains(?). Sweet. Middle is brief tug of war between hops and grain...neither wins. Finish follows suit. Still looking for a new, good summer refresher.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma of stale straw, metal and apple cores. Light yellow lager color. Mildly fruity sweet taste, feels processed. Sourish bitter elements at first, these would likely disappear if the beer warmed up. It suffices to say I bought it from the President’s uncle, who also sold me the Olde English forty.

Hey my 1st El Salvadorian beer! 12oz bottle at Mexican restaurant poured into mug. Typical pale straw color, white head. Aroma of cereal, some light fruity and floral notes. Taste is light, sweet and some grass notes. Light body, fizzy, clean. It was a simple beer to go with my dinner.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Used to be a very good beer back when La Constancia was locally owned. Now it has foaming agents and who knows what else... Still it is the best local beer in El Salvador.
