Hey my 1st El Salvadorian beer! 12oz bottle at Mexican restaurant poured into mug. Typical pale straw color, white head. Aroma of cereal, some light fruity and floral notes. Taste is light, sweet and some grass notes. Light body, fizzy, clean. It was a simple beer to go with my dinner.

Pours clear gold with a large white head. Lots of visual carbonation. Aroma of Cider and corn malt. Slight malt bitterness. Sticky lingering finish. Not very good at all. This beer would probably taste better right from the bottle on a Central American beach in the middle of summer.

12oz bottle in El Salvador. My go to Pale Lager on vacation. Cloudy yellow, with a HUGE white head. Grainy, grassy aroma. Crisp palate. Crackery malts, with some grassy hops. Simple, but seems pretty tasty compared to the other three.

Bottle from North Gate: Poured a pale piss water looking gold liquid and topped with a fat foam cap of head--surprisingly. Aroma is funky and smells of adjuncts with rice being the primary smell but some light scents of corn, grained malt and spiced hops come through as well. The drink taste better directly from the bottle than from a glass cup. It could have easily fooled me that I was drinking European imported beer instead of El Salvador. I will give this beer credit that it is affordable compared to the rest of the macro domestic and imported. Don’t even get me started on a price comparison with micros LOL. Rather refreshing pisto if drinking cold out of the bottle plucked out of a bucket of ice. Added points.

Clear very light yellow pour with a thin white head and sticky lacing ... aroma of grains, cereal and corn malts .... taste is of corn malts, watery, light sweet grains and just a simple light lager..... has a dry malty grainy finish not offensive

Bottle: Poured a super yellow color lager with a nice pure white foamy head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light adjunct notes is quite bland overall. Taste is also quite bland with some light adjunct notes and very little else to report. Body is light with good carbonation. Very bland offering overall but kind of does the job under the (very) hot Salvador sun.

Goldgelbes Bier mit geringem Schaum. Geruch leicht malzig. Schmeckt wässrig, gering malzig. Im Abgang nur minimal herb.

Among Salvadoran beers this one has better quality. It is exported to several countries. It has less alcoholic aroma than the others, it makes it look more inviting. Its color is a bit deeper but its body is kind of light with medium carbonatation. It tastes good, with an intense bread taste at the end. In El Salvador, this beer is the chosen one for special celebrations.

Bottle at a whole in the wall Salvadorian pupuseria. Poured a totally clear yellow color with a thick white head. Aroma is corn adjuncts, pale malts. Grassy with bready notes. Clean and more refreshing than I expected it to be. Went well with dinner.

Bottle. Pours a light straw color with medium carbonation and boozy head. Aromas of hay, slight sour apple/grain, and just a faint hint of toffee. Flavors of light sweet grain, light hay, and almost a hint towards dry hops. Lightly dry, lightly bitter, and leaves just a trace of grain sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow pour, quick fizzy head. Nose is grains(?). Sweet. Middle is brief tug of war between hops and grain...neither wins. Finish follows suit. Still looking for a new, good summer refresher.
