Corn adjuncts predominate in both nose and flavor. Some light hints of a suggestion of hop bitterness...but I might be wrong. Drinkablity skyrockets as itís serving temperature approaches 32 degrees.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
With beers of this sort, Iím always inclined to regard their utility rather than make some stab at their íqualityí -- I know that when Iím in Mexico on a 90 degree beach, Iím going to want something very easy. At night when Iím eating Iím going to want added flavor and complexity that compliments spicy, hearty dishes. This is not as drinkable as the water-substitutes like Corona or Tecate nor does it have the complexity of a San Miguel or Negra Modelo.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured into a pint glass. A firm pour produces a light gold body with a dense froth atop. Retention and lacing are well above average for a cheap lager. Aroma is grainy with a touch of lemony tartness and the customary adjunct corn syrup note. Flavor is the same but it’s actually worse to taste the lemon/corn syrup/grain profile than to smell it. Almost immediately becomes tiresome and is rather reminiscent of lemon lime soda. Body has a little more heft than the run of the mill adjunct lager. Clean aftertaste, nice level of carbonation.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Very pale. Nose a bit sour and skunked, bit of a Corn Pops cereal scent to it as well. Not pleasant in the flavor, unpleasantly full of a chemical and adjunct flavors, kind of like what I suspect drinking weed killer might taste like. Aftertaste is quite long and both overly sweet and unappealingly skunky. Not good even in comparison to other bad hot-weather beers.

Bottle, pours yellow and fizzy. Typical lager smell and taste - except for the skunk. Did I get a bad bottle or is it always this bad... Sweet malts, with vinegar finish. This is a definite drain pour and I already have an El Salvador rating. :(

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Disturbingly pale yellow in colour. Odd lemony note in amongst the light malty aromas. Fairly bitter, with a sharp finish. Light bodied with a somewhat chemically flavor element.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
From a 12 oz. long neck green bottle with no bottled/freshness date.
Poured a clear lager golden with a white foamy head that settled into a thin lacing.
Had a nose of lemons, even a bit lemon grassy, and sweet grain malts, no corny aromas, for a macro lager, pleasant and inviting smelling.
Good carbonation and crisp, dry and smooth lightish medium bodied mouthfeel.
A sweet lemon soda-like quality that for me was the down fall of the taste and reduced the drinkability, dry grain malts, a soft hop profile and a dryish finish with the lemon soda metallic flavor ruining the aftertaste.
Drinkable aroma, but the taste is not that appealing

Overall, this beer was terrible, it was about as vile a beer as they come. Iíll avoid it like the plague form now on.
