Dont let the green bottle fool you. There is nothing skunky and green about this beer. Fluffy, permanent head with slight hints of alcohol in the nose. Suprising balanced maltiness and no aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Suprema has a thin-to-medium, white head and a clear, bubbly, yellow-golden appearance, with considerable, stratified lacing left down the glass. The aroma is sweet, lemony, and one gets a bit of malt and stinging hops as well. The flavor is rich, lemony, malty, slightly hoppy, and it even has an odd, cream ale olive oil aspect to it. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Suprema finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and supremely drinkable. This made for a very nice 6 am breakfast beer. Overall, I loved it! RJT

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Among Salvadoran beers this one has better quality. It is exported to several countries. It has less alcoholic aroma than the others, it makes it look more inviting. Its color is a bit deeper but its body is kind of light with medium carbonatation. It tastes good, with an intense bread taste at the end. In El Salvador, this beer is the chosen one for special celebrations.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Augusta, GA. This beer is a basic American Adjunct Lager. The most notable aspect of this beer was that I was surprised that the "green glass skunk monster" hadn’t infected this brew. An average beer.

Better than Carib and better than corona even with a lime.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
My supervisor brought me back a six from Guatemala after visiting his family. Surprisingly malty and some spicyness I can’t quite put my finger on. Smooth and refreshing that has little aftertaste. I have requested more.

Had it on tap, I think, it came to me in a frozen mug with an empty inch below the rim, so who knows.. this was a very bright yellow beer, around the color of a corona. It was great in the frozen glass, refreshing, crisp and perfect with pupusas on a sunny day. Very light in overall flavor but I think that is the great part about this style.

Very carbonated but for $2.50 (for a sixer) not a bad deal at all. Not skunky and a good finish.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 THis is strange too, it has a bitter and new flavor, and the hangover is cruel. I would not drink this over several beers.
