COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To celebrate Surf Brewery’s 100th batch, we tried to emulate the very first batch we brewed back in May of 2011. This first batch was a maltier version of County Line Rye and a little stronger in alcohol. This beer has a forward malt sweetness balanced against the subtle rye spiciness. Only served on Nitrogen, allowing a creamy finish. Pairs great with French Mexican tacos!

A dark amber pour with a dense khaki head. Semi-sweet aroma of toast, bread, and caramel. Hop profile is earthy and floral. A decent amount of rye. the nitrogen kind of mutes the nose, though. Floral and earthy hop flavors up front with some rye, toast, bread, and caramel. A light bitterness to balance out the sweetness, but sort of bland overall.
