3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours with a mostly clear orange body and a mostly lasting off-white head. Aromas are bready, rye, alcohol and a bit sweet. flavors are sweet up front, but finishes a bit dry. Malty, spicy, bready. Minimal hops or esters. Crisp. A bit husky. Lively bubbles and dry. A lot of fusel alcohol for 6.9%.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very similar to the county line rye with a touch more of sweetness. I really liked this beer.

I had this on tap at Surf Brewery in Ventura
It had a nice rye flavor. Interestingly, they were pouring "Black and Rye’s", a mixture of this (or the rye pale) and their Black IPA. This rye w/ the Black IPA tasted pretty good
