Can. Murky orangish - yellow pour with a white head. Citrusy hop aromas. Tasty with citrus and topical fruit hop notes. A sturdy caramel malt backbone which keeps things in check. Above average body and mouthfeel. A solid DIPA that lives up to the hype.

Scored this one as a surprise extra from ReeceG. Thanks Bro! Can to glass pours a light honey orange color with a 1/2 finger white head with good carbonation. Aroma blew me away. Huge tropical notes up front. sweet peach, pear, pineapple, orange, grapefruit. As it warms you get more dank pine needles, sweet hops. One of the most aromatic DIPAs Iíve had the pleasure to put a nose on. Taste is initially bitter with sweet tropical fruit through the middle. Malty backbone with a delightful lingering bitterness. Extremely well balanced beer. I could drink this everyday.

HMOG 2014. Hallelujah, finally checking this off the list. It was worth the wait. Tangerine and tropical fruit aroma. Big big aroma. Flavor is fruit at first but that leans into a resiny enamel piercing finish. Good body and caramel flavors to round it out a bit.

HMOG 2014. Big can shared with like 15 other chums. Ok this is as good as the hype is, but IIPA is generally one of those styles that generally is. Candy sweet hops that are over the top citrus, caramel somewhere in there. Damn good. Big bitter.

Can. Pours a cloudy orange with thick white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with strong pine and fruit hop. Easy to drink. Very good.

Fresh on draft and in can. Someone I was with once accurately described Abrasive as a double IPA version of the similarly Citra-hopped Zombie Dust. Well said I say. I tried side-by-side with Three Floyds' Dreadnaught (different beers to be sure) and felt that they represented the present and past quintessential Imperial IPA, respectively. These days, I want Abrasive.

[My can (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry & biegaman -- c/o Glouglouburp] Pours a hazy gold with an average size long-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma: Wow! So much citrus hops along with tropical fruit and a hint of alcohol. Flavour is quite hoppy and fruity, with lots of citrus and tropical fruit, a hint of alcohol and a long moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied. I loved it!
