Bottle. Funky sour awesomeness. Darkish pour with little head. Awesome sour aroma and awesome sourness.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2012 September 15, 2012 on tap at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis. Had a muddy like color with a bit of head. Has the tartness with some nice bourbon flavors that mix well, I can’t wait to try the Five again and re-rate it.

Interesting beer. The tartness and malt remain from pentogram but the bourbon barrel ageing adds a strong tobacco and bourbon flavor. Really complex beer.

September 15, 2012 on tap at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis. Dark brown pour with lots of head. Had the same red wine characteristics as the Surly 5 plus throw a little bourbon in the mix with the aroma and taste. Very good, but yet I remember liking the 5 slightly better.
