On tap at the POPE for beer week. Aroma is pure coffee. Pours deep brown with a very small brown head. Taste is coffee, oreo cookies, malt, and a roasty coffee finish. This is just a perfect example of beer tasting like coffee. Mouthfeel is not too thick so this is easy to drink. Nice.

Can from a bottle shop in Copenhagen. It has that aroma that reminds me of chili but that is actually coffee, and also a dark malty backbone. Similar taste. I had the regular bender before this and this coffee version was slightly better and I don’t even drink coffee.

Hazy brown body with a medium off-white head. Loads of coffee with some smokiness in it. Sweet caramel malt. Almost like iced coffee or something similar. Very interesting and very good.

Dark brown pour with a white head and lacing. Aroma is like opening a bag of fresh ground coffee. The taste is black coffee, cashews, light caramel and hops. Thin body but tasty. Good session brew.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee and sweet caramel malts. Mostly sweet to start and a bit bitter at the end. I could honestly drink one of these each day with breakfast.

Can, pours dark brown with a beige head, noticeable coffee aroma, the coffee flavor also defines the taste but there are also hints of caramel and malt, light bitter finish, another good beer from Surly

Can at Savor. If I was blindfolded and someone handed this to me, I might think I was poured a cup of coffee. This beer had an unmistakable coffee aroma, along with chocolate and deep roasted malt. Poured pitch black. Flavor was a follow through from the aroma. This is a special beer to savor!

Sample at CBC 2014. Poured a hazy dark brown with a big frothy light tan head. The aroma is big coffee earthy mineral. The flavour is medium bitter with a light earthy hop spice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
