Looks smells and tastes like a cup of black coffee with a little bit of beer in it. Probably the best beer in a can I have ever had. I could drink this all day

16oz can, canned 4/25/14. Thanks to Scott L. for sharing! Brown, slight red color. Thin khaki head. Leaves bits of lace. Fantastic coffee nose on this. Some nutty earthiness in the flavor, and more coffee. Great coffee on it. Light to medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Good creamy full mouthfeel. Light dry finish. Good moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Awesome stuff. Coffee forward, yet still light and easy to drink. These Benders are very cool. Full flavor, without being unnecessarily sweet or heavy.

Can thanks to HoffDog43. Nose is a wonderful blend of coffee and espresso; just the right amount of roast. pour is a dark brown with an off white to light brown head. excellent lacing. Taste is all coffee with a bit of that tea-like graininess to it. Very enjoyable but the body/mouthfeel seems a bit thin. otherwise very good

Can thanks to trade with jdb288! Pours an opaque brownish black with thin lacy tan brown head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is coffee out of the gate, with some nuttiness behind. Taste is again all coffee, cold brewed goodness, no astringency or bitterness. Very nice for what it is, soft carbonation, definitely a nice morning beer.

Can. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue when held to the light, and a decent light beige head. Smells like cold, black, dark roast coffee, with a little maltiness coming through as well. Flavour is a lot like an iced coffee without cream. Bitter coffee with some sweeter malts to round it out. Lighter and more refreshing than a coffee stout without losing any coffee flavour. Definitely something different.

Can from Mikkeller online shop; dark brown pour with a big frothy light beige head, strong roast coffee aroma, taste has rich quality coffee, a hint of pine resin, some vanilla, caramel some woody notes, enjoyable.

47 cl can @ home. Pours brown with a little sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and nuts - with a slightly bitter finish.

Pours a dark cola brownish. Decent head, disappears fairly quickly. Lacing shows up. This one is all about the coffee- lots of coffee on the nose. The taste is more of the same - more coffee. Mouthfeel is light, creamy, and real smooth. Coffee notes are not overbearing nor do they detract from the beer still tasting like beer. A great beverage and recommended! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to the Minnesota Homebrewing Association for the beer at the AHA conference. Pours near black with purple hue, off white head, and no lacing. Aroma is huge coffee aroma...just like I stuck my head in a bag of foldgers coffee grounds. Taste is the same with some hazelnut, roasted malts, raisins, and a hint of strawberries.

HUGE coffee aroma. Really good roast and some chocolate shine as well. Pours a dark translucent black with little head retention. Taste is bright coffee up front and leads into more malt forward porter territory. One of the best coffee beers I’ve ever had. Great stuff.
