Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that’s just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Good sessionable beer, good taste. Needs to warm for the flavor to fully develop. Good gift.

Fairly clear golden color with moderate visible carbonation and a fluffy head; Great lacing. Aroma of yeasts, cracked peppers, cloves, floral hops and barley. Flavor consists of yeasts, pepper, mild resin/floral hops, cloves and barley. Body is pretty light with mild to moderate carbonation; Quite crisp. Pretty good Saison!

A rather interesting farmhouse ale. This beer looks and smells fantastic. It’s got attractive carbonation and a decent head. The taste is off the scale. Beautiful yeast and mellow apricot. It has to be tasted to be believed. While I like my farmhouse ales to have more Belgian persuasion, I would jump at the chance to have another one of these.

Poured from a cask. Delicious and creamy orange with a thick head that lasts. Aroma is great citrus smell. Taste is apricot fruit and a hint if hops. Palate is the same. Decent beer made delicious on cask.

Enjoyed from can at Township in Chicago, IL prior to seeing some friends of mine playing a show. Appearance is a hazy golden yellow with a moderate, fizzy white head. Aroma of lemon, peach, light yeast and hops. Taste is nice, lots of yeast notes, definite light fruity profile, pretty good stuff.

Aroma is spices, yeast, light bubblegum and mild mustiness. The flavor is bubblegum, spices, very slight heat, mild sugar undertones and a sourish/tart finish.

Keg@CBC2013 Clear yellow color, small white head. Spicey (white pepper) aroma. Medium-bodied. Freshing, light fruity Saisony flavor. Maybe better with more yeast, now seems to be quite filtered. Summer drink.
