Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that’s just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Golden body with a very light white head. A light aroma with some honey and banana. Taste is dominated by Belgian yeast and a light wheat taste. Smooth ending.

Nice can! No, I wasn’t talking to you! Oh well, she just slapped me as I was reading my review out loud. Got it via trade. Golden-yellow color with somewhat high carbonation evident. Aroma of sweet honeyish malt, Belgian yeast, citrus, mild funk, and lots of pepper. Flavor is more of the same, really peppery with grassy hops on the finish. Nice medium-light palate with high carbonation. Good stuff.

Can. Light yellow pour, some carbonation with a peppery and apricot aroma. Flavor is initially apricot, then herbs, and finishes pleasantly bitter with a little hops. Decent.

Thanks Shep. 16 oz. can. A golden big head of tiny bubbles sits on a honey colored beer. Moderate carbonation. Good retention and interesting pattern of dissipation. A yeast dominated aroma also has fruit, spice, and funk. Flavor is almost ripe orange and passion fruit with floral notes. Spices begin to show up as it warms and make a nice offset to the fruit. Some funkiness also shows up late. Just a small amount of yeast is noted. Thin feel.

Thanks to tytoanderso for this. Pours a pale orange with medium white head. Aroma of wheat bread, yeast, and citrus. Flavor is similar with the addition of some underripe fruits and spices. Very thirst quenching and enjoyable.

Can thanks to DalzAle. Aroma has notes of yeast, bread, honey and fruit. Medium gold with a small white head that left no lace. Flavor is sweet and then musty and a little bitter. Palate is light bodied, watery and lively. Typical yeasty Belgian brew. Yuck.

Can from wisconsinbeer...thanks my friend! Pours a orangish color with a small white head. Nice aroma of yeast, stone fruits, malt, bread and spices. Not much funk in this one. But a great flavor. Some lightly bitterness, yeast, fresh bread, lemons, spices and some smooth fruitiness. This is very good and fun to drink.

Big thanks to Buebie for sending another Surly my way Bottle poured into a tulip glass produced a finger worth of white head that went quickly to a thin lace the body of the brew was a clear golden orange in color. Aromas’ of some farmhouse funk filled my head with some incredible fruitiness Peaches and oranges in the smell as well. The flavors are close to the aroma some nice sweet fruit flavors. It finished with a light hop bitter that kept this brew very refreshing. The feel of the brew was light in you mouth and crisp on your tongue. It was a very drinkable brew I really think Saison are a great brew to get me thinking of summer .I would drink this one again If I could find it
