Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that’s just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Toss your doubts away, toss one back and enjoy!

16oz can, thanks to Scott L. Shared with my sister. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Thin white head, leaves good spread of thicker lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Medium-plus body. Lightly dry finish. Lightly spicy, light herbal fruity aroma, some citrus, nice light belgian yeast. Moderate sweet taste, kind of zesty. Lightly spicy. Satisfying, easy drinking, reasonably complex saison.

Can. Pours a medium golden-orange, slightly hazy, big fluffy white head, excellent retention and wicked lacing. Nose is those Old World hops, some Belgiany funk, grass and lilies. Mouth is medium bodied, dry with some bread dough, lemon zest, light malts, yeasty spice, some bitterness on the back end. A tasty saison and another solid beer from the moody Minnesota monarchs of malt. ;-)

Good sessionable beer, good taste. Needs to warm for the flavor to fully develop. Good gift.

Fairly clear golden color with moderate visible carbonation and a fluffy head; Great lacing. Aroma of yeasts, cracked peppers, cloves, floral hops and barley. Flavor consists of yeasts, pepper, mild resin/floral hops, cloves and barley. Body is pretty light with mild to moderate carbonation; Quite crisp. Pretty good Saison!

Enjoyed from can at Township in Chicago, IL prior to seeing some friends of mine playing a show. Appearance is a hazy golden yellow with a moderate, fizzy white head. Aroma of lemon, peach, light yeast and hops. Taste is nice, lots of yeast notes, definite light fruity profile, pretty good stuff.

Aroma is spices, yeast, light bubblegum and mild mustiness. The flavor is bubblegum, spices, very slight heat, mild sugar undertones and a sourish/tart finish.
