Date: July 23, 2011 Mode: Can Source: Apple Valley Liquor, Apple Valley, MN Appearance: Translucent yellowish orange with slight amount of head. Aroma: Yeasty with some lemon and maybe honey. Flavor: Consistent with aroma and grassy, light and medium amount of carbonation, little bit spicy when licking my lips after drinking. Other: Very tasty and great summer beer that I could have multiple at one sitting.

16 oz can from a trade with CLevar. Pours slightly hazy dark golden color with white head. Doughy yeast aroma with peaches and some spices. Bready Belgian yeast flavor with some lemon and tangerine. Spicy yeast also. Medium body with lively carbonation. A nice brew. Thanks Caleb.

Tallboy can poured into run-of-the-mill pint glass. Slightly cloudy gold with live carbonation feeding a small white head that laces like a champ. Aroma is a pungent mix of orange blossom honey and peaches (maybe this is what an apricot smells like?), and the flavors carry forward a slightly sweet mix of typical Belgian funk, peppery notes, and more of that tasty orange honey. Body is surprisingly stiff, with moderate coating and more of that strong carbonation.

16 oz can from beer fridge....pretty sure it was left by sherm1016...Thanks! Pours a slightly cloudy yellow...with thin/quickly dissipating head. Mild sweet nose and flavor...variety of interwoven flavors and ’notes’.... not my usually hoppy or heavy beers...but a great one for a muggy Sunday night...

pours an orangey, honey gold with a short lived white head, fades to almost nothing very quickly. aroma is just slightly funky with Belgian yeast notes. taste is pleasantly nice with some lemon grass, spice and peaches /apricot. medium+ mouthfeel and overall very enjoyable.

Poured from can to a tulip glass. A: Nice golden/orange color with good carbonation that sits around for awhile. S: Very clean with some earthy/grass maybe a little lemon but not funky like a typical Saison/Farmhouse Ale. T: Better than the smell. Very clean and refreshing but a little more complex than the nose lead on. I can taste the grassy lemon scents I picked up and the carbonation level seems to work nice this. M: Kind of coating actually, thought it would be a bit thinner from the appearance but I like whats going here. O: A great tasting well made beer but I prefer other saisons to this one. Won’t mind having it around for regular consumption though :)

16oz can. Pour is a hazy gold with quick white head. Small ring around the rim. Nose is somewhat saisony with grain, grape, light fruit, and yeasty bread. Taste is ok with grapes, and a bready toasty flavor. The problem for me is it tastes a little too much like a plain Jane lager.

16oz tall boy can. Pours a clear, yellow color with a nice white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, clove. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is light, but sweet, spicy, yeasty, bread. A nice summer beer, very drinkable.
