From an artfully designed can. Pours an orange with a white head. The aroma is citrusy many of oranges. Good taste it’s kinda sweet with some sour after tones. Good very all balanced beer

The beer pours a glowing medium orange, a very eye appealing color. The head is white rising about a finger but fades quickly to form only a rim. The lacing is light.
The aroma is pretty light, with some sweet orange tones.
The taste is decent, its pretty sweet for a saison, not a lot of the earthy floral tones I was expecting. At the end a small sour bite. There is a pretty sweet finish/aftertaste.
The feel is rather light, but there is a very tannic feeling that sticks to your tongue for a while.
This is very drinkable.
Overall, not your typical saison to me but it was a nice change of pace that was funto drink.

Had a light golden color, with a relatively nice hop scent. Had a crisp hop flavor that was rather drinkable.

Can via a trade. Pours with a hazed yellow body and a massive eggshell colored head that stays. Aromas of honey, clover, peppery, yeast, pears, sage, a ton of esters. A light toasted sweetness. Hoppy, grassy, floral. A nice, aggressive saison. Flavor is slightly nutty, earthy and rustic. Grainy. Estery. Straw, grassy, peppery, bready. Well made as usual. A light minerality. Lively carbonation. A bit of ginger. Very dry.
I NEED MORE SURLY!

Saison in a can??!!
Pours into my Duvel glass a rich honey amber with an active white head that dissipates all too quickly leaving no lacing.
Smells very clean for a saison. There is some mellow yeast and clove. There is some slight sugar/fruit too.
There is an initial metallic shock at first but it mellows into a good but very thin saison flavor. There is clove again and some sugar. The taste is almost cloying but not in an overly sweet way, it just rubs my tongue the wrong way. It is a bit too watery.
Furious is one of the best beers I’ve had but recently Bender and Cynicale have turned me off slightly from this brewery though there not bad brews, they are just average and a bit watery.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2011 Cans from CLevar. Thanks! Golden color, with some amber highlights, and pours with a thick white head. A thin layer of foam lasts a little bit before fading almost completely away. The aroma is wheaty and fruity (banana citrus), with fresh cut flowers, herbs, straw, and cloves. This is, for the most part, clean and refreshing, with herbal tea, citrus, light spice, grass, and earthy flavors. Moderately sweet fruit flavors, the underlying spice is a nice compliment to that. The body is light, perhaps a touch thin, but still supports enough to satisfy. The sweetness does present itself as somewhat artificial. Nice beer, though. I’ve had it twice within the past couple of weeks and I’ll say once I thought it was very good and the other time just so so. The score is essentially averaged. Would be a good one for the hot summer months for sure.
