Can courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours gold with a white rocky head. Smells of caramel, some perfume, dough. Tastes of sweet malt, a touch of citrus, resin, spice. Nice!

On tap. Saison Lite? All the characteristics of a saison are here only they seem watered down. The yeast and pepper all seemed like they came from a gallon bucket of water. A very typical and PC version of a saison.

Very nice nose. Classic Belgian estery nose. But, the palate was thin. Nice, but very forgettable.

Can via trade with tytoanderso Pours a slightly hazy orangeish to light brown with a decent white head. Aroma of belgian yeasts, fruits, coriander, malts, honey and pepper. Flavor is fruits, hops, malts, belgian yeasts, peppery spiciness, bitterness, bread, floral notes. Favorite canned beer from surly so far.

Can from tytoanderso, thanks Ty. Poured a clear, pale golden-orange color with a thick, rocky off-white head that slowly receded to a layer and left some spotty lacing. Nice aroma of soft peach and apricot, just as advertised, as well as a light floral hoppiness with some black pepper, perhaps a hint of coriander, some light yeast and a bit of flaky oats. Lightly spicy, citric entry leads into a soft yeastiness with hints of orange peel, peach, and apricot. A bit of oat comes out on the finish under the lightly dry yeastiness. Not quite as dry as traditional Belgian saisons, but this stuff is definitely drinkable. I could easily turn this into a "session saison" thanks to the can size and how easy it is to drink.
