Tasted from a 16oz can. It poured a light, hazy, amber with a quickly disapating white head and minimal lacing. A spiced fruit aroma and taste.

Super delicious farmy funk with a slight breadyness to the smell. Looks like a cream soda. Super smooth light golden funk. Finishes nice and dry.

On tap at drinking bird. Pours dark blond. Flavor is light mouthfeel but rich and somewhat yeasty malt. Good but lacking a bit in the spice department.

Gold, heady somewhat bubbly, yeast bits otherwise clear. Peachy lemon pepper aroma, kind of woody like. Tastes same, pretty much as described on header. Floral, soapy pepper clove peach lemon.honey/ honey butter. Style is not my thing but good for style.

Nearly clear mahogany pour with a two to three finger chunky tan head. Aroma is very fruity and peppery with a little doughy yeast. Flavor is spicy yeast, fruity esters, mixed berry, stone fruit, citrus, toast, rye-like spicy grain and doughy yeast. Light body, dry feel, medium carbonation. Really tasty stuff, the malt notes seem odd and the fruity notes, maybe a bit over the top, but it works great.

16 oz. can via trade at home from notes. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has pale malts, Belgian yeast, spices, pepper, coriander, honey, and some general fruit character. The flavor has much of the same with pale malts, some caramel, pepper, spices, honey, general fruit character, farmhouse. Surly always does solid beers in a can which is nice.

Tap at Republic Uptown. $3! Pint glass. Minimal head. Light orange color basically rocking an clear, filtered vibe. Aroma has a significant spice characteristic with maybe a subtle tropical fruit quality. Taste brings yeast, spice, and sweeter than expected finish to the table. Malty action at the end too. Really good saison effort. Anyone visiting Mpls and looking for our best saison representation should try this one. Good work.

[Can] Golden pour with a fizzy head on top. Yeasty and mildly hoppy nose. Flavors of floral hops, grass, light fruits and a overriding Belgian yeast sweetness throughout. Zesty herbal and dry spice notes in the finish.
