Wow. A nice saison, let alone one in a CAN? Aroma was nice and big. Apricot, peach and walnut. Pour was nice light orange with a one finger off white head. Taste was all light fruit and yeast. Classic saison with honey, peach, yeast and a hint of green apple. Carbonation was lacking for the style, which hurt. Sweet dry bittersweet finish. Delicious beer

Sweet grain malts, light caramel, some spices, cloves, esters. Slightly hazy brown, medium, creamy, beige head. Light sweet. More caramel, bread malts, Belgian yeast, spices, cloves, esters, soft carbonation. Quite a malty Saison, nice spices if you like cloves. Can at the brewery, Minneapolis.

Sample at WOBFest 2016. Some peppery spice nicely offset by soft fruit and honey flavor. Well balanced saison.

Wow they did a very good farmhouse here. Has that prickly, lively body with a hint of hay, bread and apples, finished semi dry with some candied apples and hops. Very smart.

Draft @ Mall of America. Nice aroma, a little juicy fruit and bubble gum. Amber color, with a quickly dissipating head. Nice fruity flavor, balanced with a nice bitterness. Med bodied. A very nice saison.

Solid, tasty saison with fruity notes and some spice popping through, too. The yeast effects are more restrained than I would like in a saison, but it’s still enjoyable. (on tap at Surly brewery)
