COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that’s just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Toss your doubts away, toss one back and enjoy!

Can - Light copper pour with a big frothy white head. Smells lightly spiced, with a little yeast. It’s a bit sweet and wheaty--very pleasant. Taste is a little sour and peppery, with some light fruitiness. Finishes with some nice spice and hops, and is light in the mouth, with just a hint of syrup. Nice and refreshing.

Canned on 03jan2012. Pours pale yellow with some head. Nose is just the right level of belgian yeast, fresh cut grass, and pale malt. First sip is peppery arugala followed by a nice balance of honey and yeasty quality. Nice finish of dried lemons and pale malt.

16oz can from Zipps, enjoyed on a 60* day in January. Which rocks I get bubblegum and straw though not overpowering and the mouthfeel is a bit thicker than most saisons I’ve had which is enjoyable coupled with a mildly sweet finish this is quite nice in fact

It poured a slightly hazed amber color with a medium off-white head. The aroma was of grains, fruit peel, coriander, caramel, yeast and pepper. The flavor was of pepper, fruit, yeast, mild alcohol, apricot, sweet malt, honey and fruit peel. A very good ale.

16oz can. I’ve had this one a few times, both excellent. Pours a nice lighter golden hue, fluffy white head, great lacing. Aromas are zesty, yeasty, lighter cirtus. Palate is very well balanced, some decent acidic qualities up front that lingers through the mid and finishes dry. Slightly tangy, with a sweeter fruit finish that actually quenches your thirst. I only wish this were more available.

Can - thanks Steve. Pale amber with an off white head. The aroma does not lead one to think this is a saison - no funk or farmhouse to speak of at all. Apricot, honey, yeast, some grain. Moderate carbonation, bit of a farmhouse/grass taste but also sweet, medium body, quite dry, leave a bit of pepper and farmhouse feel at the end along with apricot and peaches. An interesting beer that becomes more of a saison, or at least what I think of as a saison, as it goes through your senses. Worth trying but not my favourite in the style.
