COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the blackest depths of the brewhouse comes Damien, Child of Darkness. Spawned from the usually discarded remnants of Darkness, Damien is a dry-hopped black ale. Flavors of roasted malt and dark brown sugar suffocated by aromas of tangerine and pine.

Pours similar to Darkness which raised my expectations too much. Pleasant malt and smokey aroma, very nice medium body, bright mouthfeel. Good overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Surly. Pours black with an ample, khaki head that thins and leaves nice rings. Aroma is mild with hints of pine, resin, tropical fruits, citrus, and a hint of dark malts. Taste is in the bitter side. Resin, floral, pine, citrus, fruity yeast esters, banana candy, and a touch of dark chocolate and caramel at the end. Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Pretty clean in the mouth with a soft, full mouth feel carbonation. Overall a nice beer to try. Mild but enjoyable flavours of pine, resin, caramel, dark roasted malts, and fruity esters. I swear I tasted banana.
