COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Hops? You’ll like this fire-hued beer. This is the beer I have always dreamed of making. This is the beer that would come to mind while spending the last two years tearing down walls, hanging sheetrock, moving kegs, power washing the ceilings, arguing with various agencies, and cutting the water main. Without Golden Promise malt, made by family-owned Simpsons Malt, Furious would just be pissed offed. From Scotland, this malt is still produced in the tradition of turning over the barley by hand, resulting in a malt that is unsurpassed in its quality. Golden Promise is also used extensively by premium whisky distilleries such as The Macallan. This malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used at a rate of over three pounds per barrel. The result is a rich malt sweetness infused with bright hop flavor and aroma from beginning to end. Oh yeah, it’s about 6% alcohol and around 100 IBUs.

Can, big thanks to Tripplebrew. Poured into a shaker. Great eye appeal with solid retention. You get every hop aroma possible. (Pine, grapefruit and a tad floral) Lots of fruit in the taste and a balanced malt to support it. Anything else I say would be a repeat of other ratings… BUT I will say if you are a Hop Head, you need to get a few cans of this. Or take a road trip and get a case or two. This is an amazing IPA, no matter how you spin this or how much you want to dissect it, no flaws at all. I am kind of sensitive when it comes to bitterness… and I still find this fantastic!

16 oz Red Can. Shared tasteing with Chris the owner of The Bridge View Tavern. Forget everything that you heard about canned craft beer. This brew dispels all the negative rumers. Crisp refreshing very hoppy and dry. A little grass but very flavorful all the way through! Enjoy

Pour dark copper with a whitish head good lace. Aroma pine, citrus, resiny hops, caramel, hints of roasty malt, earthy, caramel, tropical fruit, berries?. Taste tonnes of resinous hops, with a sinister amount of caramel, and toffee to back it up, citrus, grapefruit and pine are all there to consume the palate, also some earthiness to help round out the brew. MF medium chewy body with nice carb. Wow what can I say but thank you Dresden this is definitely one of the best IPA’s I have had with terrific balance, great taste and a healthy amount of hops, this is a crusher.

Pours a nice copper color with a red’ish hue to it. It smells of floral and pine hops with a little caramel note. LOVE IT! The taste is of big citrus and pine with a nice malty backbone. BITTER! A great beer!!

Sampled from a can at the Saint Louis Ratebeer Gathering into tulip glass. Thanks, Dan! Poured a gorgeous deep amber/copper color with some chill haze and nice white foam, lasting with some lace. Aromas of fine malts, caramel and magnificent hops. A uniquely flavorful, refined amber ale. Hops certainly dominate, but it came across as surprisingly balanced nonetheless. Recommended.

Sampled at the St. Louis RB gathering. It poured a hazy orange amber color with a decent white head. The aroma was of pine hops, grapefruit, and bready caramel malts. The taste added to the aroma, with a mostly bitter finish and some lingering citrus. A very nice IPA.

A wonderful full flavored IPA. If you can get a bottle of this try it. I was first turned on to this beer about five years ago and still can’t get enough.
