4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20Appearance is a dark golden/amber color with a nice 2 finger head with tight bubbles. Aroma was hit with nice piney notes followed by a hint of grapefruit. The taste followes the nose, however, the pine notes is diminished some while the middle of the palate has more grapefruit and citrus I thought I would have. Very much a fan with this having the perfect ratio of pine and citrus. Mouthfeel is light to medium, best described as crisp and refreshing.

Pint can in a tulip. Pours brownish/ruby with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma strong of citrusy and piney hops balanced by a nice light cereal/pale/caramel maltiness. Flavor the same with a strong hop profile throughout. Smooth to average texture. Lives up to the hype.

Ce breuvage est axé sur les malts autant en arôme qu’en bouche. Le nez est spectaculaire, la bouche un peu moins mais la complexité du malt compense de façon magistral. Une belle résine habite le liquide, sapins, fleurs et une honnête amertume.

CBC. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 040513

Draught @ CBC. Pours dark golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, rich bitter hops, grapefruit, pine, resin. Flavor is malt, caramel, loads of fresh bitter hops, grapefruit and pine. Medium to full body, lively carbonation. 040513

Sample @ CBC. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, flowers, pine, malt and hops.

Tap @ CBC. Clear deep amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, hops, citrus and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, little sweet, hops, citrus, pine, little grapefruit and medium bitter.

A very heavy IPA, very bitter, lots of grape seeds and a oily mouthfeel.

at CBC2013. Fantastic IPA. Reddish on looks, thick head. Some malt but huge mango and piney feel. Long bitter finish.
