19 oz can into mug. 19 oz at a time is a great thing. Pours very dark golden-brown with a thick, dark beige head. Wonderful aroma of citrus, coriander, and pine/grass. Very strong flavors of grapefruit, lemongrass, pine, and plenty of hops, with notes of caramel. Nice, full bodied beer. Finishes with a strong bitterness and leaves a little residual in your mouth. Just awesome.

More like an amazing hoppy amber than an IPA, piney hops on the nose and hints of sweet caramel backing. Manages to effortlessly blend good amber malt flavors with intense but restrained mouth drying hops. Consistently excellent; the sort of beer that we all deserve to drink regularly.

Not sure why they canned this, but whatever it is a fantastic brew.
Pours from the can into my American Pint glass with a reddish brown hue, darker than most IPAs, certainly it is in the Midwest school of color. The head is foamy and rises to the rim of the glass, it is slightly off-white and leaves bubbly lacing.
Having brewed my own DIPA today using a pound of hops, I know the fresh hop scents and this brew is bursting with them. The nose is full of concentrated citrusy, spicy hop scent. There is some malt sweetness but only enough to be considered just enough. This is one of the hoppiest smelling brews I have come across.
The hops roll right onto your tastebuds with furious intensity, I don’t know if it is because of the can or what but the hops in this one seem really fresh. The malt is there in the taste providing the backbone needed for a solid IPA.
The Midwestern IPAs are some of the best out there, and this one is the best out of the bunch.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2011 I always love this beer, it has a bit of a red color, and a citric yet piney smell, it is a very well balanced and easy drinking beer. If it was available to me all of the time it would be a staple in my fridge.

Poured from a can into a glass. Amber in color, nice amount of head with lots of lacing. Piney hop aroma, beer tastes hoppier the more of it I drink. No hint of alcohol in the flavor, great body on this one. Excellent IPA!

Thanks to daknole for giving me this beer as an extra!
Aroma:Tons of fresh smelling hops in the nose. The hops smell mildly like grapefruit.
Appearance:Deep amber in color. Nice off-white head with big bubbles.
Taste:This beer has TONS of hops on the foretaste. The hops are grapefruit, apricot, and peach. The malt on this one shines through as well with it’s nuttyness on the aftertaste.
Palate:The body is light to medium. There’s some hop astringency due to the massive hop bomb.
Overall:I really enjoyed this beer, lots of complexity, delicious fruity hop flavor, easy to drink.

Can poured into a pint glass. This beer pours amber with a light tan head that is long lasting and creamy. The beer has aromas of bitter citrus, like grapefruit. Taste is equally as great with notes of bitter hops leaving a very citrusy taste with well balanced pine flavor, and a finish that is clean and crisp. Palate is medium, creamy, and average carbonation. Overall, this is one fantastic brew that I wish I could regularly buy. Very flavorful without being too sweet, too bitter, or to heavy. Nicely done.

Pour dark copper with a whitish head good lace. Aroma pine, citrus, resiny hops, caramel, hints of roasty malt, earthy, caramel, tropical fruit, berries?. Taste tonnes of resinous hops, with a sinister amount of caramel, and toffee to back it up, citrus, grapefruit and pine are all there to consume the palate, also some earthiness to help round out the brew. MF medium chewy body with nice carb. Wow what can I say but thank you Dresden this is definitely one of the best IPA’s I have had with terrific balance, great taste and a healthy amount of hops, this is a crusher.
