Bottle - Cherry and balsamic notes. Cloudy copper with a thin bubbly head. Light cherry and woody notes. Pretty uninspiring considering the cost and packaging. More like a basic Flemish Red.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Aroma of sourness / tartness, dark malts, light chocolate, hints of dark fruits and oak and wine, and some light spices. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good beer but not the best of the style.

Bottle from Matt via CANBIF. Dark mahogany with a beige head. Nice combination of malt vinegar, flanders brown, sour cherries, some caramel, some metallic notes that disappear once it opens up, tart. Mild+ carbonation, full body, dry, good.

Bottle... Pours clear and dark brown with shimmers of burnt-orange and no head. The aroma is a fusion of medium-roast malts, sour cherries, vanilla and toasted oak. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor, pulling up just shy of being truly tart, furnishes notes of sour cherries, caramel and red wine. Fruity, tangy finish. Bottle courtesy of BVery!

Clear, dark brownish red. Funky deep berry, touch of molasses. Predominantly sour, though also pretty sweet. Very acidic, medium body. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750mL bottle (2014 Vintage). Pours a deep, hazy copper with tan head so-so retention and lacing. Nose barnyard funky with a massive bouquet of fruit (berries, green apples, sour grapes), oaky barrel must, hints of toffee beneath the fruit and yeast. Mouth is medium bodied, Brett-forward, and fruity with sour apples, toasted oak, wine-barrel, plenty of tartness and tannins all around, slightly astringent with some grapefruit near the finish. My favorite sour to date. On a more personal note.... reached 700 ratings with this one! I’d like to thank everyone who made this possible and give a special shout out to my liver. Thanks for not failing me (...yet) good buddy.

Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma is sour with notes of malt, vinegar, caramel, funk and berries. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and medium sour with a long sour, slightly dry and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Nice dark color with medium head...tart cherry flavors with raisins lurking in the background. Well-balanced oak aromas. Strong and bold...one bottle and you’re begging for mercy. I’m not ready to jump on the sour sleigh, but this was a nice introduction to the category.
