Bottle from jcwattsrugger, huge thanks for the opportunity! Slightly cloudy medium brown color with a smallish off white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of tart cherries and lemon with a bit of brown sugar and chocolate at the edges. The flavor is light lactic tart with a healthy dose of funk but still has a bit of residual malty sweetness left to it. The darker malts lend to a slightly chalky mouthfeel, medium body and a moderate level of carbonation. Decent wild ale but nothing horribly exciting.

Slightly hazy medium brown body with a small, light-tan head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Strong, sweet, sour and acetic aroma of caramel, red berries, brett and vinegar. Light sweet and light acetic taste. Moderate fruity flavour with wild yeast and vinegar. Medium to light body, dry texture, soft carbonation. A good beer, but it could surly be better (I’m the master of puns). [Superficial speed-rating of small sample @ Haand Ølfestival 2014, Drammen]

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of kermis. One of the coolest looking bottles ever! Pours a clear reddish beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is tart, loads of dark fruits, blackcurrants and sour fruits. Flavor is quit tart, loads of Brett present. Lots of dark fruits again, some oaky presences as well. Well balanced, quite complex and full bodied brew! Quite good!

Tap at bad apple... Chestnut colored piur and topped with a creamy slightly off-white head... Aroma of a tart oud bruin with a bit of musty basement earthiness... Flavors of sour cherry, medium vinegar, semi sweet little sour. Medium to bigger than that body-wise with a mild level of carbonation.

A delightful beer. A lot more devine than the name would let you know. Pours a dark thin coffee shade, giving you thoughts of toffee and chocolate. Bus the flavour is one of a lovely sour wine and berries alongside a brett yeast which all balance really well. On tap at Haandbryggeriet Ølfestival 2014. More Surly please.

Pours a clear yet coffee dark chocolate with thin layer of tan tinged foam. Aroma is dried cherries, hint of raisin and notes of oak. Notes of dried raspberry. Flavor is tart mix of green apple and unsweetened cherry with very earthy wood notes-oak. Flavor is young not as smooth as other sourts. Still good but tastes young * this was from the tap when it was first released.
