Tasting at Matt’s
Dark color, small head. The aroma immediately reveals a strong red wine character; there is wood too, oak. Lean and dry mouthfeel; caramel favor, with tart berries, red wine; very strong Brett character; also fairly sour; and mild tannins in the final, that becomes astringent.

On tap at Haand Festival 2014. It’s an unclear, orange-brown beer with a small, off-white head. It’s lightly funky on the nose, with caramel maltyness and a hint of balsamic vinegar. It’s dry and tart on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level, and flavors of caramel malts in the back, with some dried fruit notes, balsamic vinegar and a good funky touch. Lasting finish with a light vinegar sourness. An easy drinkable and tasteful beer that is far from as frightening as the name and bottle design might lead you to think. 140524
