Bottle courtesy of Casey & Traci, thanks! consumed in company of Casey & Traci 09.07.13 Pours reddy/brown with a rim of bubbles. Tingle tastic on the tongue with a dab of balsamic, sour and malty this is lovely. This beer has a Rodenbach character which I like. I like the woodiness, I like the furriness on the tongue, I like this beer its really decent. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Tap - fair size foamy head, dark copper/amber color, strong sour Brett aroma and flavor, but not overbearing, mild red wine like flavors, solid malty backbone to balance the sourness - very good for a sour/Brett beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Surly. Pours an opaque copper brown with a fading beige head that leaves minimal lacing or head to speak of. Aroma is amazing combination of tart cherries, crisp green apples and apple cider vinegar. Flavor is same with bright carbonation, medium body and snappy apple cider finish. Easily the best brettanomyces beer I’ve ever had.

Stine (1539) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Mucky reddish brown; tomato, raspberry, high acid aroma with brown sugar, and balsamic. Rotted fruit stink coupled with alcohol, limestone.

Pleasant, soft acidity in the flavor with balsamic, currant, black cherry. Lots of drying, silty calcium and gravel. Blood orange. Calmly tart with balancing sweetness throughout, though it lacks some for buoyancy.

Soft rounded mouthfeel with plush texture; quiet carbonation buzz. The gravelly earth finish fades, and a deeply unpleasant sweat sock, moldy cheese settles in on the back of the tongue, in the far finish.

Lubiere (9877) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 16, 2014
A hazed brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with ground cherries, light Brett and cork, sour lactic notes, classic Oude Bruin. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of lactic acid, woody notes, licorice, a bit dry and astringent, but well done. On tap at Links.

At my place with Taylor, Justin, Kristen, Matt, Jacob, Jen, other Matt. Pours almond clear with lacing. Aroma is acidic, musky, cheap. Taste is dark sour, too acidic and empty.
