Bottle courtesy of Casey & Traci, thanks! consumed in company of Casey & Traci 09.07.13 Pours reddy/brown with a rim of bubbles. Tingle tastic on the tongue with a dab of balsamic, sour and malty this is lovely. This beer has a Rodenbach character which I like. I like the woodiness, I like the furriness on the tongue, I like this beer its really decent. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

On tap at Haand Festival 2014. Itís an unclear, orange-brown beer with a small, off-white head. Itís lightly funky on the nose, with caramel maltyness and a hint of balsamic vinegar. Itís dry and tart on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level, and flavors of caramel malts in the back, with some dried fruit notes, balsamic vinegar and a good funky touch. Lasting finish with a light vinegar sourness. An easy drinkable and tasteful beer that is far from as frightening as the name and bottle design might lead you to think. 140524

Bottle from footbalm. Thanks Eric! It pours a dark ruby, black cherry color with a thin khaki head. The aroma jumps out as a bit acetic with some tart and sweet cherries, hints of diluted molasses, a little leather, vanilla and wood. The flavor has strong sweet cherries and a pretty good amount of spicy acetic acid and balsamic vinegar. The sweet cherry flavors balance it up front, but it does kinda burn on the way down a little. Thereís hints of woody, vinous notes of spoiled wine and vanilla in the finish. Caramel comes through stronger as it warms, but this is still an acid forward sour. A decent beer and fun to drink.

750ml bottle 2014 vintage pours semi clear red brown with small head. Nose is tart, some acetone, touches of grape and dried fruit. Taste is straightforward, low funk, medium acidity, a bit acetic, some vinous grape and dark cherry skin, plum. Finish is tart, acidic fruit, hint of oak, dried dark fruit, grape. Lacks complexity and has some acetic issues. OK.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. First beer! A blurry really warm amber brown colored one this. A nice medium sizes beige head on the top. Lovely tart red wine vinegar nose. Red berries. Yeah, itís definitely betted with something this. Lots of funky woody dark charred matches. Itís lovely prickling on the soft bubbles and oily in the mouth. A bit watery perhaps? Well, not really after a few sips. Lots of flavors, quite bitter as well. Sour strawberries, sour apricots, red wine and fruity strawberries. Really lingering aftertaste. A wonderful start. 02.05.2014
