COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Continuing our quest to despoil and desecrate conventional beer styles, were raiding Trappist traditions to produce this Belgian Style Ale brewed with Rye, Oats and Wheat. Our first beer EVER brewed with Wheat! Belgian yeast creates classic clove-spiced banana aroma and flavor. Dry hopping brings floral and citrus aromatics to the biscuity-smooth malt body.

750 ml yellow waxed bottle into a teku glass. Huge thanks to Obiwankushnobi for this want of mine. Pours a clear dark brown/red body with a finger of tan foam that has some crazy lacing and retention. S - Huge Belgian yeast notes of banana, bubblegum, and spices. Booze, caramel, rye spice, and some stone fruits. Piney hops. This aroma is really complex and all over the place. Really awesome. T - Banana, clove, wheat, caramel, raisins, grapefruit and piney hops and straight fusel alcohol. A bit of hop bitterness lingering on the finish. This is a real cluster of a BSPA. The flavor reminds me a bit of Bolt Cutter, but tamed down and lacking the barrel notes. This is awfully tasty but really confusing and intense. Mouth feel is thick and coating but well carbonated. Alcohol is somewhat prohibitive. O - This is a huge and complex beer. Really intense, boozy and massive. Frankly its kind of a mess of a BSPA. Im kind of a fan though. This is really unique and different. Thanks Kyle!

750 bottle thanks to Limited Release guys. No intense aroma like Syx. Slight malt but more yeasty and wheaty. Bit of plum. Slight quad flavor. Slight sweetness with some citrus. Better than Syx by far.

Bottle at RBSG. From notes. Kinda underwhelmed with this one. Boozy with a bit of funk. I liked it, but I think it was a bit too hyped up so I was expecting more.

750mL bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a fairly clear dark copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, some chemical notes, and slight fruits. Flavour brings out lots of Belgian yeast, some alcohol, very subtle dry fruits, and some bready malts. Very yeasty and fairly hot, though the burn is not reminiscent of 12.5%. Solid stuff, but nothing very special about it.

Came across this in a very unassuming liquor store in Albertville minnesota when one of the clerks saw me perusing the tiny craft beer selection. I dont know how he knew Id be a beer snob. But he came up to me holding a bottle of this. He said we have four bottles in the back and he figured Id appreciate this. 20 Bucks later I had me this gem. Pours a nice amber with white head. Sweet candy, caramel, and some banana aromas. Boozy flavours with nice hop presence. Sweet candy and caramel. A sipper to say the least. Excellent.
