3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at 2013 GTMW, since this was at the GTMW I specifically asked for a small pour of this, but in typical Surly fashion they filled the entire glass up, most ended up on the ground, for mostly my sake, pours a clear brown with an off white head, holy smokes this thing is boozy, a nice touch of fruit but most of the nose is all heat, the flavor is really sweet on the front end with a ton of alcohol in the finish, really intense, glad I didn’t finish my entire sample or else I wouldn’t have lasted the rest of the festival.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Amberish, fiery, moderate sudsy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Strong bready/honey like nose, slight tartness along with noticeable alcohol.   Very tart on the tongue, almost sour.   Strong honey like
pale breadiness.   An odd beer, like a Strong Golden crossed with some sort of Sour.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, albeit a bit full because of simply trying to choke this down.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full,
but I am not sure if thats good in this case.   Finishes like a very rich honey Strong Golden, with a sour tinge on the backside.   This was a really weird one.   As if a Strong Golden needed to be any bigger, this one seems
like an Imperial Strong Golden or something.   A little tough, even though its almost a year since its been bottled.   Interesting, but an ass kicker for sure and hard to finish by ones self.   Thankfully I had help!
Thanks to Skyiview for the bottle!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. A dark golden clear one, a little bit of sidesticking off-white head that’s sticking to the sides. It’s quite strong and somewhat alcoholic sweet on the nose , lots of ripe fruits, some paint and traces of something oily acidic. Really sticky and thick on the mouthfeel and soft prickling on the carbonation. Big flavors. Lots of sweetness, fruits, glazed dried sweet fruits that is, apricots, papaya and honey melon. Really stingy warm and slightly boozy finish. That sticks around for a while as well. 04.05.2013

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bright orange color; decent head, stubborn lace. Boozy and fruity, high on the hops and malt, bite as it descends. Smells about the same. Lacks refinement.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught, 15%. Vanilla aroma. Hazy amber colour. White head. Vanilla flavour, turns fruity. Late citric note with a lot of warming alcohol. Not boozy, but of course strong. Tastes all right, but why so much alcohol?

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep, clean orange with a white head. Smell is like a fruit explosion, no other way to describe it. Taste is more fruit, and delightfully dry (Note: later tasting notes mark it as becoming significantly sweeter), and a balanced hoppiness. Not too bitter, and has a sticky, full mouthfeel. I’m a fan.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fad: Lysegul uklar øl med et fint skumhoved. Massiv sødme i duften men med en humleprofil der bakker den op. Interessant med den megen alkohol men sødmen fungerer faktisk ok.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap @ Mikkeller and Friends, Cph. Pours hazy orange with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has clear candied oranges, strawberry, vinious, light overripe peach . A bit of oak. Low carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has general heavy sweetness at first, oranges, peach, very heavy on alcohol. Far too much.
