Pours clear orange with low white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and alcohol. Taste is a fruit sugarbomb, a bit unbalanced and overly sweet. Body is full yet oily, with flat carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, copper-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has apple, mild citrus, and some earthy notes. It has a full body with a smooth, slick texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a lot of alcohol warmth and a slightly tart finish. I was very impressed with this beer.

A - Hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades normal. S - Bready and biscuit malts, grapefruit, pineapple, and other citrus hops, oak, vanilla, booze. T - Caramel, bready, and biscuit malts, grapefruit, pineapple, orange, and other citrus hops, some bitterness, oak, vanilla, booze. M - Medium-plus bodied with moderate-light carbonation. Smooth with a sweet, bitter, and warming finish. D - Nice hoppy profile with good base beer that holds up to the oak character.

Dark orange pour. Man this beer sucks. terrible. So sweet and sticky and cloying. Some fruit flavors are there, but just a sweet, syrupy mess. Drain pour.

Bottle. This one has been sitting since I picked it up last Fall. Color is a pale orange with almost no head. Soft malts and a bit of dry hops and wood on the back end followed by a massive alcohol kick that warms the throat. Itís not a bad beer, but holy shit it packs a wallop. Seems to have mellowed nicely by sitting for awhile.

750 ml bottle thanks to my secret Santa. Thanks! Pours a translucent copper with a soapy white head. Aroma has some grape jelly notes. Nearly too sweet. Too much overall.

Was hoping to like this one, but didnít hit the mark as I would have hoped. Burnt orange pour, clean white head and decent lacing. Sweet wood smell but too sweet tasting. Decent oak taste with some alcohol burn. I like big beers but will pass on another bottle of this.

Aroma is a nice sweet woody scent. I aged this one for about 9 months so the abv isnít so aggressive. Flavor has an Oaked wine flavor up front, Iím getting a lot of tropical fruit in the background. Iíve also has this fresh and still enjoyed it quite a bit. Anyone who complains about the alcohol burn needs to realize that this beer is 15 percent abv and itís pretty much impossible to hide that. I love this beer and wish I had a few more bottles!!
