4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
September 15, 2012 on tap at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis. Cloudy golden pour with huge head that lasted. Citrus and piney hop in aroma and taste. Nicely balanced, smooth, creamy and medium bodied. Nothing wrong with getting a little Wet, but going All the Way is so much better!

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this at the 2012 Autumn Brew Review. Has an outstanding fresh hop/pine scent, taste is a crisp pine and has a lingering bitter.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draught during Autumn Brew Review 2010 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a semi-clear light copper colored brew with a thick and creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a cream top. Aroma of mostly floral and moist green vegetable hops, a touch of rhubarb, and grapefruit zest. Taste is weedy vegetable with a hint of multi-grain malty, grapefruit, and floral hops. Finish is soft palate, mildly bitter with flavors of green vegetable, multigrain malt and more floral hops. Though the hop flavor is one dimensional you will detect fresh picked hop flavor in this special release. Delicious!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
No doubt I will be against the grain on this one, but regular Wet is substantially better. Low carbonation and a thin palate. Lots of hops, but the lack of carbonation or any balance gives this a dry flavor, and not a lot of it. It seems a little watery. Gold color. Still, its Surly and even when things don’t turn out great, they are still good. ABR 2010.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Sampled at Autumn Brew Review. Pours a very clear golden color with a nice white head. Super aggressive hoppy nose with strong notes of floral and citrus rind. Medium/light mouthfeel. Full on hop assualt to the tongue! wow. Slightly sweet up front but then the hops completely and utterly take over from start to finish. Ends fairly clean with a lingering bitterness. LIghter mouthfeel than expected. Very good but couldn’t imagine drinking a lot of this as your mouth would just get toasted by th e hops.
