Poured from a pint sized can, thanks to CLevar. The aroma is very fruity, citrus, pine, green/grassy. The flavor is similar, the citrusy fruit is bright. Slight hop funk. Very nice and enjoyable.

Canned sample- glowing tangerine, cloudy with wispy white head. Nose-bright green hops, oranges, peach. Taste- almost creamy tropical fruit juice that drops into a resinous dry finish. The garlicy flavour noticable in other simcoe hopped brews not present at all for me. Excellent body and carbonation make this dangerously drinkable.

16 oz. can thatnks to CLevar. Canned 09/20/12. Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma has some pine, citrus and still really nice for being almost 2 months old. The taste is a little grassy, fruity, and crackers. The bitterness is not too high which I think is good. A very good beer.

Pours a bright yellow with white head. The nose is a pineapple and mango bomb. Some pine needle notes too. Sweet fruity flavours followed by a nice sharp bitter bite. Awesome.

Canned sample. Gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of mango, tangerine, sweet grass. and faint pale malt. Loads of sweet exotic citrus and tropical fruit notes, cut by grassy hop bitterness and firmed up by some bready malts. Medium bodied. Very satisfying.

16 oz. can, consumed on 11-1-12. The second can I had from a four-pack, and I enjoyed the first one just as much as I did this one. Awesome, hops-centric aroma: Dry, bitter, mineral-y smell featuring citrus, peach, apricot, cracker, and bread scents as well as, yes, cat urine (I dislike that description because it can’t help but come off as critical, even though I don’t mean it as such). Very strong and perfect wet-hopped IPA aroma. Pours a clear gold with slow-rising bubbles and a moderate amount of long-lasting, thick, cream-colored head. Produces very good lacing. Sharp, dry, mineral-y, grainy flavor matches the aroma. Lemon, peach, vanilla, and gin and tonic / quinine elements in the taste. Alcohol noticeable in the flavor. Long, dry aftertaste. Easy to drink but filling. Very lively; soft and smooth in the palate. Medium body. Surly Wet 2012 is one of the best beers I’ve had in years. You can’t ask for much more in the style or, really, any style. This beer is well made, highly aromatic and flavorful, and simply excellent!
